To write a capital Z, start at the top, draw a horizontal line to the right, then draw a diagonal line down to the left and finish with another horizontal line to the right. For the lower case z, start in the middle, draw a horizontal line to the right, then a diagonal line down to the left, and finish with another horizontal line to the right.
